SAMHSA recently announced the release of new and updated resources to support grantees transitioning to the Unified Performance Reporting Tool (SUPRT). These materials, available on SAMHSA’s Performance Accountability and Reporting System (SPARS), are designed to help organizations better understand the new reporting framework and prepare for data collection requirements.
One of the most anticipated updates is the SUPRT-A/C Batch Upload feature, which will allow grantees to upload CSV files containing data for multiple clients at once. This feature is intended to make it easier for organizations that manage their data in external systems to submit information to SPARS more efficiently.
For many grantees, transitioning to SUPRT raises important questions:
- How does SUPRT differ from GPRA and NOMs?
- What new data collection procedures are required?
- How should organizations update workflows, systems, and reporting processes?
Understanding these changes early can help organizations minimize disruptions and ensure they are prepared to meet new reporting expectations.
To help grantees navigate this transition, The Policy & Research Group (PRG) is offering a free informational webinar focused on SUPRT implementation. During this session, PRG experts will walk through both how SUPRT works and how PRG Insight can support your organization.
PRG’s SUPRT Information Session Will Cover:
- What the transition to SUPRT entails
- Key differences between SUPRT and GPRA
- What grantees can expect moving forward
- How PRG’s data management and visualization platform, PRG Insight, can streamline data collection, tracking, and reporting
Who Should Attend:
- Program directors
- Data managers
- Evaluation staff
- Anyone responsible for client-level data collection, entry, or reporting
Session Details:
Wednesday, March 11, 2026
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM CDT
Please note that this informational session is not sponsored by SAMHSA and attendance is not required by SAMHSA. It is hosted by PRG to share information about the transition from GPRA and NOMs to SUPRT. As part of the presentation, we will demonstrate the capabilities of our data management and visualization system, PRG Insight.
