Empower your organization with Insight.
Reduce the burden of performance data reporting and visualize structured data
to illuminate program process and outcomes in real time.
PRG Insight is a data management and visualization system that empowers agencies to make data-informed decisions. Built specifically for organizations receiving federal grants, Insight simplifies performance measure data collection and structures data using dashboards that provide real-time descriptions of client characteristics, participation, and targeted behavior change.

Transitioning to SAMHSA United Performance Reporting Tool (SUPRT)? We can help!
Starting October 1, 2025, CSAT and CMHS grantees currently using GPRA and NOMS for client-level data collection are required to use SUPRT. The Insight system includes an electronic SUPRT form for easy data collection; follow-up/tracking alerts; real-time data visualization; and automatic upload to SPARS. PRG Insight Features
The heart of PRG Insight is the Data Dashboard, which provides real time visualization of program data to better understand participants as they progress through the program. Graphical representation of program data illustrates exactly who is enrolling in the program, how thoroughly they are participating, as well as any changes in outcomes of interest. This data visualization allows organizations to leverage the data they are often required to collect (for example client-level data on the SAMHSA-SUPRT) to inform and improve programming.
Dashboards can also help program staff monitor how well they are meeting program delivery and data collection goals. Auto-populated lists can help track and notify staff when clients are due for program components and/or follow-up data collection efforts.
Dashboards tabs can be filtered by teams, sites, or dates, giving program and administrative staff the instant ability to conduct site-level performance analysis or respond to funder inquiries about specific performance periods. The simplicity of the filtering allows agency staff to share information with all types of stakeholders, in format that is visually engaging and easy to interpret.

Electronic data entry
With built in skip patterns and ease-of-use response options, electronic data entry reduces the time burden to allow agency staff to focus on serving their clients rather than entering data from paper forms.
Automated data uploads
Automated uploads to federal performance measure portals (such as SAMSHA SPARS) eliminate the need for duplicate data entry. The data validation tools built into the data entry tools ensure that data are easily uploaded without errors.
Training and resources
User training for the electronic data entry tool(s) and dashboard system provides support to users through on-demand web-based tutorials, a user guide, and an email help desk.
If your team is looking for a more comprehensive solution, we also offer:

Capacity building. A key feature of our formative feedback approach is the timely, regular discussion and interpretation of findings. These discussions ensure that the feedback is clear, actionable, and integrated into the program’s ongoing development and continuous quality improvement.

Technical assistance. Provided through live trainings, phone call support, and regular meetings to support agency staff, we are available to answer your questions and help incorporate PRG Insight into your workflow.

Development process for customized content. We’ll work with your team to identify what data are available, how those data might be used to meet funder reporting requirements and improve services, how to display the information in the most visually appealing and intuitive format, and what your team wants to achieve through PRG Insight. Through an iterative process, we’ll incorporate your team’s feedback and ensure that the final product meets your agency’s needs.
Partner Feedback
“The dashboard provided by PRG has allowed for up-to-date, high-level visualization of survey completion stats and follow-up progress. The convenient access has made it easy for the dashboard to be incorporated seamlessly into my workflow. Grantees have said they use the dashboard regularly to confirm the open and close follow-up windows for their clients.”

“I love the ability to review data in real time vs. awaiting a semiannual report. [PRG Insight] provides the opportunity for management and staff to review in real time in team meetings and adjust tactics if we are missing the mark. Additionally, it provides real-time insight of clients’ specific needs and gaps in care that we could prioritize while in our treatment programs.”
